Most people develop some lines of vivencia at the expense of other lines. This is why facilitators can set up a group for (and/or offer sessions to existing groups of) people who would benefit from strengthening their weakest lines and thus find balance and happiness in themselves and their lives.
As suggested by R. Toro, the creator of the Biodanza system, facilitators can work with
1) People who want to strengthen their line of vitality
and offer sessions for people with low vitality who suffer from chronic fatigue, a sense of physical weakness, hypochondria, lack of drive and enthusiasm, apathy, sadness, and/or excessive worry.
2) People who want to strengthen their line of sexuality
and offer sessions for people who need to adjust their sexual response, e.g. people struggling with sexual dysfunctions like impotence, male hypoactive sexual desire disorder, female sexual arousal disorder, sexual aversion disorder, gender identity issues, all types of FGM, genophobia, haphephobia, aversion to body contact, sexual guilt, lack of affectionate touch, etc.
3) People who want to strengthen their line of creativity
and offer sessions for people who display disrepectful, aggressive or violent behaviours, e.g. teenagers with challenging behaviour who are prone to drugs and alcohol and need to develop their creative potential.
4) People who want to strengthen their line of affectivity
and offer sessions for people who suffer from feelings of insecurity, depression, anxiety, social phobia, feelings of distrust and hostility, and find it hard to connect and develop close bonds. People with psychosomatic illnesses needing affective containment for their identity can also join this group.
5) People who want to strengthen their line of transcendence
and offer sessions for people who feel disconnected from themselves and nature, stuck in routine tasks, experiencing a sense of existential emptiness, fears of persecution and/or catastrophies, and want to expand their consciousness and experience a sense of belonging to their community and the world at large.
Ideally, in order to prevent the mutual reinforcing of their difficulties, all of the above groups would eventually open and allow people who have developed other lines of vivencia to join in.
