The first step to achieve a lived-experience of transcendence is to let go of any preconceived ideas about God. The perception of the divine essence does not require faith. The personification of the divine is the very negation of the direct-experience of transcendence. When personified, the divine essence remains outside the human being. |
God does not come from outside; it is not a form. It is the intense vivencia of "meaning" that arises when we experience ourselves as a living part of creation. God is therefore a vivencia and not a presence. We can access the divine experience as long as we abolish the ego that keeps us in exile - even if we are unable to remain "within the totality". |
The deep experience of God transposes the boundaries between the external and the internal. This is therefore an experience of fusion with the whole in an oscillating act of dissolution, in which the Universe manifests with all its complete and wondrous unity in the human being, which nevertheless forms an essential part of it. |
