My other passion is playing the gongs, crystal bowls, pipes, strings, etc, to aid relaxation and healing. I have studied shamanism for many years and all of these interests have helped shape to be the person I am today. |
Rupert
Yvi van Ham
My first class of Biodanza in 2009 felt like coming home. Biodanza helped me heal from trauma, stress and PTSD more than any therapy ever did. I understood why when I encountered PolyVagal Theory. The benefits from Biodanza have to do with the rewiring of the nervous system that might happen during vivencia and beyond. I teach form a deeper understanding and deep wonder for the amazing creatures we are and the bonds we have. Our social connections regulate our health! |
Caroline
Carolina Churba has over thirty years’ experience in Biodanza and has trained over 80 facilitators in South Africa. In 1990, she brought Biodanza from its origins in South America to London. In 1996, Carolina brought Biodanza to South Africa. “I started Biodanza at 18 in Argentina. Biodanza has helped me live my life in balance. Every class helps me find my inner source of love that allows life to flow from week to week in a positive way. That is why I have continued with it for over thirty years! I see people heal their lives through Biodanza from their very core. This gives me purpose in my facilitation.” |
