In Biodanza, especially in the line of transcendence, we can come to experience this sense of oneness with the totality through dance and open-hearted connection. This feeling of "onto-cosmological unity" is a non-conceptual type of inner knowing that we are part of the unifying movement of the cosmos.
Toro says that "the awakening of cosmic consciousness and the re-establishing of the ecological circuits with the universe are concurrent with the awakening of collective consciousness." He wanted humankind to reach a "state of plenitude in which individuals, with intense and magnetic selective power, turn to behaviours that strengthen their development and integrate them with the self, the species, and the cosmos."
One of Toro´s influences was Richard Bucke (1837-1902), the Canadian psychiatrist who wrote Cosmic Consciousness: A Study in the Evolution of the Human Mind. Here is a short animation and a passage from his book.
